| SFS Group Public Company Ltd has held its first Economic Forum and awarded the first SFS Group Entrepreneurial Values Award to Mr. Costas A. Zorpas Chairman and Managing Director of A. Zorpas & Sons Ltd. The award ceremony took placed on October 11 2004 at Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol and was presented to Mr. Zorpas by Mr. Stelios Haji-Ioannou founder & Chairman of easyGroup. The Forum will be an annual event aiming at promoting entrepreneurship among Cypriot business leaders as well as being an opportunity for exchange of ideas and opinions on economic and business issues on the Cypriot, European, and world economy. Each year a high calibre guest speaker from the international business world will be invited. The SFS Group Entrepreneurial Values Award will be given to individuals or companies who have exhibited continuous and outstanding contribution in at least one of the following areas for five years: · Development and/or management of a Cypriot company (public or private) · Improvement of annual results · Improvement of services offered and increase of annual volume of work · Use of innovative methods for development and management as well as contribution to the Cypriot community. These reflect the SFS Group business values of Service, Performance, Integrity, Responsibility, Innovation, and Teamwork. A selection committee will examine nominated individuals or companies and select the person or company to be awarded by vote. |
