01/02/2010: Co-Financing of GSIM from SFS and KFHAM [SFS]
Subject: Co-Financing of Global Shipping Investment Management Ltd (“GSIM”) We wish to inform you that pursuant to the Shareholders Financing Agreement (the ‘Agreement’) between SFS Group Public Company Ltd (‘SFS’, the ‘Company’), KFH Asset Management Sdn Bhd (‘KFHAM’) and GSIM, SFS Group Public Company Ltd, in parallel with KFHAM, proceeded with the financing of GSIM, and each one of SFS and KFHAM financed the amount of $275,000 (€198,000 approximately). GSIM, based in the Cayman Islands, constitutes the General Partner of the Global Shariah Shipping Fund L.P. (the “Shipping Fund”) which was established pursuant to an agreement between the three companies, as already announced. GSIM is equally owned by SFS and KFHAM. The financing aims to cover the GSIM expenses for the establishment and the promotion of the Shipping Fund and repayment will be in two years.
