First Elements Ventures Ltd, a wholly owned local subsidiary, is primarily active in the SE European region.  The company’s business model revolves around the sourcing and full-cycle management of Venture Capital investments.  Such investments have been financed so far by investment companies which are either subsidiaries or associated with the Group.  However, as announced already by the Group CFO, the company will expand its operations in 2007 to manage a new VC Fund which will be established in Greece and which will invest throughout the SE European region.

Through our local subsidiary, SFS Corporate Management (SFSCM) we primarily manage the private equity and property assets of the SFS Group. SFSCM is manned with experienced professional and support staff with diversified "hands on" experiences.

The guiding principle of our people is to identify "hidden" business opportunities and, through the input of the right blend of know-how , management and new capital, to unlock the businesses' potential and true value. In this respect, we believe that listing on a stock exchange (which is often assumed to be the main objective behind private equity) should not be seen as an end in itself, but as one of the possible outcomes of this private equity value creation process.

The private equity field is both risky and complicated. There are neither a given set of procedures to follow, nor any standardised practices to apply. Each deal has to be analysed, structured, implemented and monitored individually.

Through our subsidiary AAA United Property Consultancy (United) a new and dynamic company, we offer a selection of real estate services such as sales and lettings, valuations of all type of properties and feasibility studies. Through our local subsidiary, Cypensions which is an authorised insurance agent, we offer general insurance services primarily to the SFS Group, its associates and third party customers.

In order to enrich the range of financial services offered, the Group established a unique private pension scheme back in 1999. This scheme is aimed at employed and/or self employed people that have no real provisions, or simply those who wish to enhance their income after retirement. The Cypensions Unit Trust Fund offers a high pension annuity by combining Sharelink's asset management capabilities and a Whole Life Insurance Plan from ALICO (member of AIG). This scheme was designed for the sole reason of providing all our clients and associates the opportunity to secure their desired standard of living during their retirement years.
